Much of the HRD community has spent the last year driving the strategies and processes that enabled business continuity for their organisations. Now we find ourselves in a crucible moment – we have the unique opportunity to take the essential parts of organisations and reshape them for a business landscape that has fundamentally changed in very little time. Uncertain markets and social transformation have changed the metrics of competition and success. Digitisation has accelerated at an unprecedented rate, across all parts of the business. Employee expectations of the relationship between life, work and how and where they connect have shifted.
The disruption is not over, and as we continue to move forward it is essential that we evolve, rather than revert to the old status quo. What should we carry forward and what needs to be left behind? HR will take a leading role in defining and designing the businesses of the future. How can people leaders continue to be a stabilising force, whilst spearheading transformation? During a time when it feels impossible to plan, how can we create the strategies that are adaptable enough to see us through the long-term? We’ve designed HRD: A Virtual Experience as an immersive learning environment where our community can connect with other senior people leaders and experts can collaboratively create the frameworks and blueprints to begin answering these questions. Through a series of expert keynotes, case studies and intimate workshop discussions, explore the most important themes emerging across 2021. Join us on the 25th February 2021 and begin building the organisations of the future.
